Privacy policy

The data controller is Masaje Panamá, located in Obarrio, Ciudad de Panamá. For any privacy matter, write to hola@masajepanama.com or message us on WhatsApp at +507 6123-4567.

This site has no forms or user accounts. We only receive the information you choose to send us when you get in touch:

• Your name, or whatever name you prefer to use.
• Your phone number or email, depending on the channel you use.
• Anything you share to arrange the session: the massage you are interested in, date and time, language, and any health condition or preference you want the therapist to know about.

We do not ask for ID documents or online payment details. Payment is made in person.

• Answering your questions and arranging your booking.
• Confirming, changing or cancelling appointments.
• Adapting the session to what you told us, such as an allergy or an injury.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not send you promotional messages unless you ask for them.

We process your data with your consent, which you give by writing to us, and to fulfil what we agree with you when you book. Any health information you choose to share is used only to keep the session safe for you, and only the therapist who sees you has access to it.

We delete booking conversations six months after your last visit, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep some information for longer.

We do not share your data with other companies for their own purposes. To operate, we use a few third-party services that only process the information they need:

• WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us there. Its own privacy policy applies to the app.
• The hosting provider of this website, which may log technical visit data such as IP addresses for security.

Some of these providers store information on servers outside Panama, for example in the United States. We only work with providers that offer appropriate security measures.

This site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking tools. We only use the technical cookies needed for our internal admin panel, which do not affect visitors.

Under Law 81 of 2019 and its regulations, you can ask us at any time for:

• Access: to know what information we hold about you.
• Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Erasure: to delete your information.
• Objection: to stop using it for a specific purpose.
• Portability: to receive your information in a commonly used format.

To exercise these rights, write to hola@masajepanama.com or message us on WhatsApp. We reply within ten working days at most. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with Panama's National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).

Only the team members who handle bookings and the therapist who sees you can read your messages. Our devices are password-protected and we delete conversations within the period stated above.

We only see clients aged 18 and over. If we learn that we have received information from a minor, we delete it.

If we change anything important, we will update this page and the date shown above.
